AI mass mailing: segmented campaigns, A/B testing, and drafts in your voice

A visual editor with drag-and-drop blocks, recipient segmentation from your customer base (by tag, behavior, pipeline stage), subject-line A/B testing, and detailed metrics. The AI proposes subjects, segments, and body drafts in your voice. Reports with open, click, unsubscribe, and comparison against previous campaigns.

  • For mass campaigns: newsletters, announcements, promotions.
  • A visual email editor with draggable blocks.
  • You segment recipients from Clients (by tag, behavior, etc.).
  • Metrics: sent, delivered, opened, link clicks, bounces, unsubscribes.

What is Mailing?

It is for the emails you send to many contacts at once: a monthly newsletter, a new product announcement, promotions. Different from the Email module (one-to-one) and from Broadcast (mass chat).

Create a campaign

  • Internal name: 'May 2026 Newsletter'.
  • Subject: what recipients will see. Important for the open rate.
  • Sender: your verified email.
  • Recipients: you filter from Clients — by tag, last activity, etc.
  • Design: a visual editor with blocks (text, image, button, columns).
  • Send date: now or scheduled.

Segment recipients

The quality of the campaign depends on the segment. Filter: only clients active in the last 6 months, the 'VIP' tag, those who gave newsletter consent. Better 200 relevant recipients than 2,000 indifferent ones.

Example: monthly newsletter

Example

You want to send your May newsletter with 3 sections.

  1. You create the campaign 'May 2026 Newsletter'.
  2. Subject: 'Karina, discover what's new this month' (with the name variable).
  3. Visual editor: 3 text blocks + 2 images + 1 CTA button.
  4. Recipients: the filter 'clients active in the last 6 months + newsletter consent'.
  5. 450 recipients.
  6. Immediate send.
  7. The next day: 38% open rate, 12% click. Your best.

A real campaign, with numbers. You know what worked and what did not.

Metrics and reports

  • Sent — total.
  • Delivered — did not bounce.
  • Opened — with percentage.
  • Link clicks — including which specific link.
  • Unsubscribes — who asked to stop receiving.
  • Marked as spam — an important alert.

How it connects

How it connects: Mailing

If something does not work

If something fails

Very low open rate (under 15%).

The subject is the most important thing. Try variants (A/B test). Send at different times. Clean inactive contacts from your list.

High bounce rate.

Your list has invalid emails. Clean the database. Send to inactive contacts less often.

You are marked as spam.

Check frequency (no more than 2 per month), content (words like 'free' and 'urgent' in excess raise the spam score), and consent (that people genuinely asked to hear from you).

Integrations that power this feature

Frequently asked questions

How is it different from Mailchimp or any email marketing tool?
Pilot's Mailing lives inside the same ecosystem as your customers, your CRM, your calendar, and your invoicing. Segmentation runs on live data (pipeline stage, last order, account health score), not exported lists. Opens and clicks log events on the customer's timeline, not in a separate dashboard. And the AI uses context from the whole account to personalize — not just the name, but the offer. If you already use Mailchimp, we can coexist: Pilot can sync lists and read metrics via the integration.
Does the AI write the whole campaign for me?
It proposes drafts. You pass it a short brief ('Pro Plan promo for customers who bought the Basic Plan in the last year, 30% off, expires July 15') and the AI builds the subject, preheader, body with two A/B variants, CTA, and a base design. You review, adjust what's needed, and launch. As with every module, we send nothing without your OK.
How does it keep my emails out of spam?
Several layers: correct SPF/DKIM/DMARC setup on your domain (we guide you step by step at onboarding), gradual warming if you're a new sender, dedicated or shared IPs depending on the plan, list validation before sending (we drop invalid emails so your bounce rate stays low), and feedback-loop monitoring with the major providers (Gmail, Outlook). The assistant warns you before sending if it detects risk signals in the content (spam trigger words, an unbalanced image/text ratio, suspicious links).
Does it support reusable templates and brand signatures?
Yes. You build base templates for your recurring campaigns (newsletter, promo, launch) and reuse them. The brand signature with colors, fonts, and logo is set once and applied to everything you send. When you create a new campaign, you start from the template and edit only what changes. We also share signatures with the Email module so one-to-one replies keep the same branding.
How much does it cost?
Pricing depends on monthly send volume, the number of active contacts in your base, and the modules you contract. For companies just starting out there's an accessible plan with everything essential. Contact us for a tailored proposal with discounts for LATAM teams.

How much did your last campaign open, and how much did it sell?

Book a 30-minute demo. We connect a sample base (or yours in read-only mode) and build a campaign live with a segment, A/B test, and report. Then you decide whether to move it to your real base.
