Pilot + Shopify: automated support, marketing, and restocking for your Shopify store
Connect your Shopify store with Pilot's AI layer. Sync catalog, orders, and customers; the AI agent serves customers over WhatsApp and webchat with real stock, recovers carts, charges inside the chat, and triggers after-sales on its own.
What Shopify does with Pilot
Pilot is an AI-driven, end-to-end business system, fully turnkey: CRM, sales, ecommerce, communication, billing, and operations are all included. If you also sell on Shopify, Pilot connects your store and orchestrates it with AI; it never asks you to migrate or switch platforms.
Shopify handles the storefront and the checkout better than any other platform, and leaves an enormous gap in conversational support and proactive after-sales. Shopify apps cover pieces (chatbot, email marketing, retargeting), but few operate cross-channel with a real AI agent. Pilot operates on top of Shopify so the customer completes their journey without your team having to be glued to the chat.
The integration uses Shopify's Admin API with an access token generated from a Custom App. Pilot syncs products, variants, stock, orders, customers, and addresses every 5-10 minutes (real-time via webhook for orders and inventory changes). The AI operates by reading the cross-channel context (WhatsApp, webchat, Instagram DM, email) and responds with live data from your Shopify store.
When a customer asks about a product, the AI shows real photo, price, and stock. When they leave an abandoned cart, the AI writes over WhatsApp and proposes completing the purchase (with a payment link if the customer prefers not to return to the checkout). When a new order arrives, Pilot triggers the welcome conversation and the automatic shipping follow-up.
What you can do
- Two-way sync of products, variants, stock, prices, and collections every 5-10 minutes (real-time via webhook).
- Sync of orders, customers, and addresses; each order creates the customer in the CRM if they didn't exist.
- AI agent serves customers over WhatsApp, webchat, Instagram DM, and Messenger with real Shopify stock and price.
- Abandoned-cart recovery: the AI agent writes to the customer and proposes completing the purchase with a payment link.
- Automatic customer notifications when an order changes status (paid, fulfilled, delivered).
- Charge with an integrated payment link (Zelr module) when the customer wants to buy over WhatsApp without returning to the web checkout.
- In-conversation product recommendations based on the catalog and the customer's history.
- Smart restocking: Pilot alerts when stock drops below the threshold and proposes purchase orders to the supplier.
- Consolidated reporting: sales by channel (web vs. WhatsApp vs. Instagram), average ticket, most-asked-about products that didn't sell.
- Compatible with Shopify Basic, Shopify, Advanced, and Shopify Plus.

What about Shopify Magic / Shopify Inbox?
Shopify Magic does AI generation of product descriptions and emails. Shopify Inbox provides basic chat from the store. They solve pieces inside Shopify. Pilot operates cross-channel: the same AI agent serves customers on WhatsApp, webchat, Instagram, Messenger, and email with real Shopify stock, and everything ends up reflected in the unified CRM. Compared with apps like Tidio, Gorgias, or Reamaze: a similar focus on conversational support, but Pilot adds cross-tool operation (CRM, scheduling, payment link) without hiring three separate tools.
