Work Board: Your Operational Cockpit for the Day, One Click Away

A personal notebook with notes, an AI assistant beside you as you write, and an idea bucket for loose thoughts you later turn into tasks or long notes. It's your own space to think, write and clear your head, separate from the shared project Kanban and the calendar of commitments.

  • Three tabs: Notes (your notebook), Chat (an assistant alongside you as you write), Bucket (loose ideas).
  • Notes are private or shared with whoever you choose.
  • While writing a note, you can ask the assistant something and bring its answer into the doc.
  • The bucket is for jotting down quick ideas — you turn them into notes or tasks later.

What is the Work Board?

It's your personal notebook inside Pilot, with superpowers: an assistant always alongside to help you write, summarize or look something up from your Pilot while you write.

Notes

  • A Notion-style editor: headings, lists, checkboxes, images, files.
  • Autosave.
  • Private by default. You share them one-to-one or with a group.
  • Internal search across all your notes.

Chat with the assistant alongside

Turn on the Chat panel with the button at the top right of any note. You ask the assistant and its answer stays alongside. If it's useful, click 'Insert into the note' and it brings it into the doc.

Idea bucket

The Bucket is where you drop loose ideas while you think. It has no categories, no structure. You just add lines. Later, when you have time:

  • You turn the idea into a full note (click → Convert to note).
  • You turn it into a task with an owner and a date.
  • You discard it.

Example: ideation at the end of the day

Example

At 5:00 pm, before wrapping up, you want to empty your head.

  1. You open the Bucket.
  2. You drop 8 ideas as loose lines: 'talk to Diego about X', 'prepare the pitch', 'look at competitor Y', etc.
  3. The next day you process them: 2 become tasks (with a date), 1 turns into a long note (pitch prep), 5 you discard.

Your head is clear. What mattered got captured and started.

Frequently asked questions

How is it different from the project Kanban?
The project Kanban is a shared view with your team: cards that move through columns (to do, in progress, done), with assignment and dates. It's built for collaborative work on concrete projects. The Work Board is your personal space: private or selectively shared notes, a chat with the assistant beside you as you write, and a bucket for loose ideas that aren't tasks yet. They coexist without overlapping: the Kanban is for the team, the Board is for you.
How does the assistant beside the note work?
While you write a note, you open the chat panel with a button at the top right. You ask the assistant — 'summarize this note in three bullets,' 'make this paragraph more formal,' 'find what client Sol said in her last meetings' — and the answer appears alongside. If it's useful, you click 'Insert into note' and it's brought into the document. It's the difference between switching tabs to a chatbot and having the assistant embedded in your writing flow.
What's the idea bucket for?
It's a short list to dump quick ideas with no structure, category or date. Think of it as an end-of-day brain dump: 'talk to Diego about the contract,' 'prep the trade-show pitch,' 'check out competitor X.' The next day you process them: some become tasks with dates, others become long notes, others get discarded. Without it, ideas either get lost or clutter your task list with things that aren't ready.
Are my notes private, or can the team see them?
Notes are private by default. You decide which to share, with whom and at what level (read-only, comment or edit). You can keep an entire notebook just for yourself and share specific notes with a client, a supplier or a teammate. The assistant respects those permissions: it only accesses your private notes to answer you, and only reads shared ones when working with another team member.
How much does it cost?
The Work Board is included in Productivity plans. There's no charge per note or idea. Pricing is built around number of users and modules contracted — contact us for a tailored proposal with special terms for teams in the region.
